It depends entirely how busy the shop is. Also, to a large degree, what his clientele is. For instance, if he was doing top of the line restoration, the profits could be very high. If he was doing basic insurance repair, the opposite would be true.

Another major factor is how big the shop is. 2 employees? Or 30 employees?

There are too many variables to give you a real answer.
